Creating & Rolling Out An Emergency Action Plan

In this session, we'll share our experiences with building an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for our park from the ground up. We’ll share insights one how the plan came together and the pinch points we encountered. We’ll also discuss our experiences collaborating with local agencies and how we engaged our full-time and seasonal teams in the creation, update and training.

Wi-Fi Planning For Current and Future Waterparks

For anyone building, buying or improving a waterpark, this session will provide current trends and best practices around key Internet and connectivity technology such as fiber, Internet TV and "Internet of Things.” This webinar also will provide information about bandwidth, coverage needs, monetizing a network and how to best implement Wi-Fi in a waterpark. Learning outcomes for this webinar include: fiber implementation ideas for Internet and Internet TV; Ethernet switching to support "Internet of Things" applications such as gate access, cameras, laundry and point of sale; and Wi-Fi connectivity standards for indoor and outdoor environments and the impact of 5G technology.

Building Community Support To Serve Alcohol In A Publicly Owned Waterpark

Have you ever thought of offering alcohol at your publicly-owned waterpark like some private parks do? This presentation will take you through the process of surveying your community, what questions to ask and how to obtain the results you want.  You’ll hear about the process from building community support to preparing your presentation for the appropriate government branch for approval. You’ll also learn about what actions to take once you have approval, including obtaining your liquor license, insurance and the proper liquor vendor.  This presentation will talk about what went incredibly right, to things that that did not go exactly right.  It will also lead you through best practices for implementation, procedure creation, staff training and community acceptance.
