The amusement industry is well versed in ADA and other guest accessibility issues related to the design and construction of attractions related to physical disabilities. However, as technology allows attractions to include more advanced audio and visual features, operators and manufacturers need to be aware that various accessibility laws also establish regulations for sight and hearing impaired guests. This multimedia session will explore how parks have provided visually and hearing impaired guests with accessible options for enjoying many of their shows and attractions. We will also discuss requirements for making your websites accessible to such guests, based upon recent case law.
